PRODUCT & CUSTOMIZATION
Developing the right bamboo woven product
Which bamboo woven product categories do you manufacture?
Bamiva develops bamboo woven storage and laundry pieces, lampshades and lighting, kitchen and tabletop items, wall decor, planters, seasonal gifts and custom woven containers. Share your reference image or concept and we will advise the most practical material and weave construction.
Can you create a custom design from our reference image or sketch?
Yes. Our product development team can assess reference images, dimension drawings and target price positioning. We will propose the bamboo strip type, frame construction, weave density and finishing route before sampling.
What private-label options are available?
Private-label programs can include woven or laser logo labels, paper hangtags, barcode labels, printed care cards, buyer-approved gift sleeves, master-carton marks and custom retail packaging.
Can you customize colors, finishes and dimensions?
Yes. Natural, carbonized, whitewashed, honey and dark-stained finishes are commonly available. Dimensions, rim construction, handles, lining, weave density and set composition can be developed for qualified B2B programs.
SAMPLES & ORDERING
Sampling, MOQ and production planning
What is the typical MOQ for bamboo woven products?
MOQ depends on product complexity, finish, packaging and the production setup. As a guide, many standard baskets and lampshades begin around 100–300 pieces per SKU; kitchen and tabletop sets generally begin around 300–500 sets. The product page MOQ is the commercial starting point.
How long does a development sample take?
Most straightforward evaluation samples take approximately 3–7 working days once the material, dimensions and weave direction are confirmed. Complex forms, new molds or extensive packaging development may require more time.
What information should we include in our first RFQ?
Please include a reference image or sketch, target dimensions, expected quantity, destination market, desired finish or weave pattern, private-label needs, packaging requirements and preferred Incoterm. This lets us quote the correct construction rather than a generic alternative.
What is the normal production lead time?
Most standard production programs run approximately 18–35 days after sample approval and deposit confirmation, depending on product complexity, quantity, seasonality and packaging requirements. A confirmed production schedule is issued with the order.
QUALITY & COMPLIANCE
Quality control and market documentation
How do you control handmade weave consistency?
We use the approved sample, measurement sheet, weave reference and packing plan as the production standard. Our checks cover strip preparation, weave density, shape symmetry, edge finishing, dimensions, labeling and carton packing before shipment.
Can you support FSC®, BSCI / SMETA and social compliance requests?
Bamiva can provide FSC® bamboo options and BSCI / SMETA compliance support for relevant customer programs. Please notify us of your required scope at the RFQ stage so the correct documentation can be planned.
Do you offer food-contact-safe options for tabletop products?
For suitable bamboo kitchen and tabletop items, food-contact-safe finishing and FDA / LFGB documentation options can be discussed. Requirements depend on the product construction and destination market.
What export documents can you provide?
Typical support includes commercial invoice, packing list, bill-of-lading coordination, fumigation or phytosanitary documentation where applicable, plus compliance documents agreed in the order. Confirm destination-specific needs before sampling or production approval.
PACKING & SHIPPING
Export packing and logistics support
How are bamboo woven products packed for export?
Packing is planned around the product shape and destination. Common methods include nesting, tissue or paper protection, dividers, polybags where needed, moisture prevention, inner boxes, retail-ready packaging and reinforced export cartons.
Can you plan mixed containers across several product lines?
Yes. Bamiva can help combine compatible bamboo woven SKUs in one shipment and calculate nesting configurations, carton dimensions and estimated container utilization for a more efficient buying plan.
Which Incoterms and ports can you support?
We commonly support EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP discussions. Export coordination is available from Shenzhen ports including Yantian and Shekou, with Ningbo-Zhoushan options for applicable programs.
Can you send samples internationally?
Yes. We can arrange sample dispatch after confirming the sample requirement, courier account or shipping preference, and destination address. Freight cost and shipping terms are confirmed before dispatch.
Ready to turn answers into a product plan?
Send your product reference and requirements. Bamiva will recommend a viable bamboo weave construction, sample process and export packing route for your market.
